Daily Journal February 24, 1998, William Thomas Thompson. "Freedom of choice" is a trick of the devil. What is art that I should paint in a world of complacency where the need for God is being more and more disregarded and the word of God is discredited? An affluent people need not or know not God. I am not painting for a joke; I am painting to stop the nation from disaster and the entire world for that matter, from a fate more badly than death. It is sin against the Holy Ghost; it is sin against God and themselves. I am not a painter of pretty pictures to give people an artificial since of security. I am a painter of truth to face the world's people with the question of where and how will you spend eternity. There is a choice in life if we recognize it early. What will it take? If the skies fall, will they see and hear the truth? If the sun fails to shine, will they see and hear? If their breadbasket fails to have food, will they listen then? Man is a disappointment to God. I have been, but when God rings your number, will you answer? That is the question. No woman has a choice to kill her unborn baby. This is a dope society of soda jerks eating and drinking, not even knowing from whence they came or for what purpose. Ask one to work and see that stare. Follow one around and see the sugar wrappers they drop and the coke bottles they leave wherever they finish one to jerk another. The goof-off society has arrived and I pity them. When coke was discovered in Atlanta, Ga. early in this century, they called it dope because some how it was made with cocaine, so they named it coke for short. People today are being destroyed by bad drink. Sugar is like alcohol in that it makes people drowsy and slothful. Diet is more dangerous in my opinion, the more sweets people eat, the more sour they are. Certainly, attitude is a major effect on me if I eat sweet. If I am sugar free, then I can see, I can think, I can work and I can pray. If I am sugar free, I can live a full and complete life everyday. Last night I ate only lettuce and a fresh Florida early tomato for my evening meal, I preferred raw cabbage but none was found. I was doing well on this and carrot juice until I at last took on some frozen grapes. I love grapes and especially frozen red grapes, but they do not agree with me. When will I ever learn not to be ruled by food? Sweet tea doesn't tempt me anymore. Coke, not even Pepsi tempts me anymore. It’s the marginal things that tempt me. The free slaw today at K&W that came with the salmon patty that had that dreadful sugar plus awful pepper spice that drove me up a wall and finished my day with a dose. Dear Lord, May I stay off all of it and live free and well in mind, body and in my spirit. I pray for peace in my home and every home in the world. True religion starts at home. A worthy witness starts at home. Praise you Lord for salvation and faith in a great tomorrow. Olive oil is said to be best for cooking. It is very expensive. And purpose is fulfilled in me today. Late term abortions and Bill Clinton twice vetoed them, I thought that after the election he would sign the 2nd but he did not. Has America gone crazy? All abortion is murder, everyone regardless of term. Bill Clinton, where are you tonight? Can you hear the cries of all those babies whose blood is emitting sounds from the earth for vengeance on a nation gone mad without sane people in congress or our courts? Do you ever think Mr. President that a power much stronger than the republicans may remove you from office and deal with your soul?
