Daily Journal January 21, 1998, William Thomas Thompson. Thank you Lord for another day. May I live it your way. It is good to pray unto the lord early in the morning and give him our best time. My inspiration comes from Almighty God through the Holy Spirit. Let every believer not cheat themselves out of the joy of the full Christian life. It takes awhile for a baby to grow up to an adult, so it takes awhile for a Christian to grow up and develop into a mighty powerful servant of God to last for all time. Walking in daily holiness before God and enjoying his blessings. "Come and go with me, I am bound for the promise land" (up in heaven). I expect Jesus Christ will return to earth again soon to set up His kingdom here for a thousand years, Let us all be ready. Revelation 20-6 "shall reign with him a thousand years "This mid week Wednesday I am waiting for a worker to arrive to finish a very important area on the roof that should have been done yesterday. Thank God it did not rain last night, we have one more day, I keep thinking about that man in Texas that was thought to have been framed in a triple murder charge and the real evidence withheld at his trial putting him, a small time crook, on death row and to death even with the facts presented professionally by a respected citizen pointing out major multiple errors to the supreme court and all authority beneath to stop the execution of this man. I believe half the people on death row are innocent. Rev. 19-19,"and I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth" To think of all the time wasted at the V.A. Hospital, it’s like they own time and have all of it in the world. I will say that the volunteers do a better job and have a very good attitude. The employees often have this no care look on their faces and another veteran walking in is treated like trash. One reason I had to wait so long as my trials go is they said that they let the wheel chair man go home early so the man that was going to order my braces had to do his job. There is no parking to be had at the VA at any time of day. People are sick and getting sicker everyday. As to the roads getting more traffic, I find half the people are going half the speed limit and the other half are going double the speed limit. My wife's grandfather always said that no other car need to pass him because he goes as fast as anyone should go. I think the same thing that I am going as fast as is safe to go. "and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him" God is a very tolerant God but time is out for the USA. We are a murdering nation without repentance. We add to crime, inflation and suffering with exportation. This is a world condition and a time of world war and a world in trouble. Prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes and will conclude soon. The earth will belch fire and will melt with great heat like a nuclear explosion and all the world will burn. May God have mercy on those that are outside His covering? There is no safety outside of Jesus Christ. The foolish say there is no God! I say there is a God in Heaven and I feel very much a kind to him. Let us serve Him with all our time until that day when we see Him face to face. I cannot wait. "That set on the horse and His army" This wicked world will not listen to reason or the voice of the spirit. Salvation is available to all that will see and believe. Let us stand firm as God's people and fear not the future. In a mounting national debt we are leaving to our children to pay, only if by some means we manage to survive. A new year is time for "New Years resolutions" which are known to not be kept 90 percent. Traditionally we eat beans and greens on this day and my wife cooks the worlds most wonderful tasting meal with canned red tomatoes and with a small amount of pork added for favor. The smell last all year. I can see the steam rising off the bowl as it sweeps across the kitchen and onto the dinner table. The cornbread steaming just out of the oven
