Daily Journal Continued March 26,1998, By William Thomas Thompson I could hear the mighty roar of the seashore breaking waves at 6am. I was aware the light in my bathroom had gone off and with my luck the power was off all along the beach area. I dressed in a jogging suit by the twilight and went to the desk. The bird was not talking in the lobby. I walked to the beach but there it was all rock. A man of considerable years stood looking at the sun rise and ask me,was it red when it came up? I answered carefully, I donot know. The gentlemen looks hard at the sun with this great question on his face as he leaned heavy on his cane and focused his eyes on this early sun over the rushing sea line with a heavy mist on my face. I sensed that this dear man had missed something very precious to him like the world of people today are missing in knowledge and understanding of the most important things life offers and that creation reveals. I was told there was a beach out here but there is a chain link fence. I walked to the North side where I saw the surfers last evening near the curve in the road. Here, there was a ramp off the public parking lot and I went down onto the sand where a wave suddenly blast a rush of water up to my knees. There was a sign saying"no swiming".When I returned to my room 103,the electric power was back on so I dressed after the seasalt and was soon on my way to meet my guest 10 miles away on I-95 at exit 95 at 7.50 A.M.,a mile a minute. Yes? but for the old bridge crossing the waterway to the heart of St.Aug- ustine was backed up a mile. I arrived for the 8A.M. breakfast to be with my guest staying at the Best Western next door. I ask for oranges cut in wedges so I can eat them with my hands. The first answer was"we have no oranges"but later delivered a bowl to our table.(I was early but late. My guest was later than me). After a good breakfast and a tour of the old fort,we toured the old city of historic St.Augustine,We visited the fish hatchery for colored fish and nursery then on another 5 miles west where stawberries were to be available but the place was closed in this beautiful farming country rich looking soil land. Then we had lunch at the Seafood Kitchen accross the old bridge again. As we parted ways, my friends traveled South via A1A forward Daytonna Beach but I crossed back to the mainland to patronize the Holiday Inn on Ponce De Leon Ave.for a trip to the rest room where I must brush my teeth before my gums comeout. I then stopped by the Herb Shop where I had found alot of interest in growing herbs inside the fort. The people seemed ready to move there and ask me what I would pay them to live there and run the place while growing herbs and selling them there If I would agree not to put anyone else in there that they might not like. I answered, not a thing. I said frankly,If I cannot get peoples interest enough to put hands on to fix up the place, then it can remain as is and just be a art showplace. The smell of beer and cigarette breath told me I am in the wrong place. I walked away standing tall and proud that I trust God and never were addicted to awful smoke and beer, never ever having one drop in my body. If people didnot feed the habit, they would not need so much of the Devil's money. Why can't I have it exactly as I want it,smoke free. It can be a model city or haven of rest with the Devil's vises outside the gate I pray. Daily Journal Continued March 29,1998 William Thomas Thompson Now that I am home again arriving about one A.M.last night,I can get back to the routine. I drove 450 miles after 5pm yesterday,it takes a real man to do this I believe. My old car ran like new. I stopped by the Jacksonville farmers market and found stawberries at the close of the day a little ripe and loaded my car with four cartons that I had to put into the cooler after arriving home. I drove some to my brother's house this morning crossing over piney mountain as a short cut so he could give some to my Mother at lunch to take home and enjoy. Strawberries will be in season here next month. As I drove accross the mountain,I had wonderful site suddenly of spiritual enlightenment that I want to write about, but first I want to clarify from yesterdays journal as saying,I trust God and were never addicted to anything,I mean also that because of my trust in God and deep conviction that many people donot understand. I intend to keep the Fort free of the Devil's vices. As a mission church nonprofit educational art and health institute,I will not compromise the principal for which I am commited. So stand back and see God work it out. Watch God's plan work by faith to keep it clean and pure. Most people do not see anything but money in life and this is trouble. I feel very much intimidated so far from many down there like I cannot move. If people do not see the purpose, then they have no place there. I refuse to let anyone dominate the place or threaten it from being a ministry for God first and foremost as a Christian art drivein. If and when we do other things like grow herbs,we must do it our self with what little volunteer help we may have. We must work with people to do this by faith. The people must first understand total faith and not interested in profit as I am not interested in profit at all. The purpose is all that is important and that in terms of priority. The message of Christian art first,2-The mission of free food and clothes. 3-The worship of God as a new Testament Church, 4-Farm and animals,5-A nature walk to exercise and study the art,6-A camp site and 7-Tree of life health food. Art of the New Millennium, art is first as prophecy being fulfill- ed. When I am there seeing all that need to be done,I tend to get discouraged.but when I return home,I get new vision for this Old Fort place great art project because of its location being in mainstream tourist traffic and the approaching New Millennium. We can do all these things and more if everyone will contribute to the project some time or work or money. Right now when I say we,I mean God and me. He can do all things. I want to plant flowers on the burm(Mount of dirt out front)its an overground septic tank 4 feet high or less and 20 feet long. Herbs are available from Maggies farm West off highway 16 afew miles wholesale herb plant. I remembered a family here with 6 children that may need that C vitamin near the same mountain,so I took them some of the straw- berries and drove over the same mountain to see if my vision would replay, but it did not. I must find away to record it all at the time it is happening so that I may get it into type. Dear Lord, make me faithful to the visions I see. May I trust only in Thee. May I get rid of me and serve Thee with all my life energy. Daily Journal Monday March 23,1998 cont. William Thomas Thompson From Fredericksburg Virginia to Myrtle Beach,South Carolina I awaken from the HolidayInn at about 6am and drove up the street to Hardees for a quick sausage biscuit and was soon on my way via I-95 to Richmond and points South with a stop in Smithfield/Selma for lunch. Then proceeding South I saw a sign Dunn,North Carolina and remembered hearing Talmadge Spence speak on Bob Jones Uni- versity FM radio station. I wanted to look him up and ask for an interview because he had interested me in a statement aired in the last message I heard recently. Suddenly there it stood along the highway bigger than life,Foundations Bible College,I had just space to decelerate and exit and turn into the campus by the guard gate and behold this huge building that dwarfed all the other buildings on campus,It reminded me some of the style of the New Jerusalem I had painted from Revelation with arches on all 4 sides sitting alone amid the field. As I drove up,Doctor Spence was leaving but circled back greeting me and this was our first meeting. For one hour we talked,I showed him some pictures of my art paintings and he said they remind him of the paintings of the catacombs under Rome telling the story of the persecuted Christ- ians. Immediately I felt that I was in the presence of a man of God of extraordinary faith and understanding of a broad view of Christian religion and one standing there saying things I relate to confidently as consistent with what I believe God has been revealing to me in the past 5 years after I was anointed I feel, to paint Christian art of prophecy in 1989 suddenly and seeing to paint the 300 foot long book of Revelation in 1994. History unlocks the interpretation of Bible Prophecy. Little did I know that I was about to see the greatest collection of history in the world teaching the foundation of Christianity. I cannot begin to describe this magnificent place, for as an assistant knowledgeable in these matters took me toward this arena,it got bigger. I had requested a tour after learning that art was a part of the pro- cess of teaching,he said it was not a museum although every style country and custom was represented that had to do with the hist- ory of true religion. This meeting for me seemed to be a divine order and I am pleased to recommend all see it to understand it. Foundations Audio Min.Box 1253,Dunn,NC28335,910-892-8761. Brother Spence(as we say, brother in the Lord's family, spiritual brother) is independent of all denominations of the Christian faith, but saying on one of the several audio tapes I purchased on the spot, tolearn more from him, that he feels most aligned with the Presbyterians. His overview of the protestant Church today is that it has drifted far from the true New Testament Church set in order by God though Jesus Christ and preached by his disciples known as Apostles as representing the Holiness of God before the world giving every person on earth a chance to see and believe. The tapes names Billy Graham and the Pope as leading astray of the Church today into modernism, ecumenicalism one world church anti-Christ compromising the one and only God Almighty to a pagan worship of all world religions of idolatry. He names Benny Hinn as a modern day opportunist as like a false prophet and I agree. It is very clear in his taped teaching that we must return to the doctrine of the (HOLY) Apostles of The Holy God for eternal life.
