February 5, 2005 journal, Upstairs Gallery in Tryon NC opens America 0h Yes Show with Scott Blackwell from Hendersonville as one of the show organizers, the gallery was full of people on both levels. They have 3 of my paintings showing and the response was good. The work of Donna Howells is really worth seeing, she’s a devout Christian from Charlotte and her work is on America0hYes website, paintings of the rapture and other religious art. Donna Howells paints mostly rapture scenes so beautiful. We traded paintings, one each for one of my electric look unconditional love, I am so proud to have one of her paintings. We both paint Revelation art but do not fully agree especially on the rapture doctrine. We have agreed to disagree in Christian love and fellowship. I've been gazing at her painting with all the marvelous detail every sense I brought it home. She shows the rapture without Christ. She feels as I do that we should not show Christ in art form but I do very often. I plan to show Christ coming on a white horse in the Vegas painting with the New Jerusalem following behind and the saints of God following from heaven and the saints on earth are floating up to meet him but coming from around the earth and not from the pit of hell as I will picture Las Vegas with all the sin continuing to go on even though my theory is that all this will be destroyed by fire at the coming of the Lord. Although I will call the painting the Bride of Christ, it could be called Heaven and Hell pictured simultaneously. I was honored to have dinner with Joe Adams after the show closed and his daughter along with artists Sher and Gabriel Shaffer. Gabriel had just returned from the New York Outsider Art Fair and America 0 Yes has a full-page ad with the word “Like Mother, Like Son in the recent issue 49. I am pleased to meet new artist and share ideas for inspiration. When I look back now and see how far I have come in understanding the Bible since I saw a vision to paint art in 1989. I have learned all over again from the Bible and the paintings. The Bible was translated into English in 1611ad. This is called King James Version and there is a rash of versions since that seeming to water down the true meaning of God's Word. I believe the King James Version of the Bible contains the Word of God. I have felt led to explore history as to who we are in recent years and many things were obvious. Children of Israel were in bondage in Egypt for 400 years, all 12 tribes and God saw all of them cross the Red Sea safely to the desert where they spent 40 years wondering before entering the Canaan Land. God promised Abraham all that land west and I think it was to the British Isles. The Israelites went into bondage more than once finally in Assyria where they eventually escaped to the north and west populating the British Isles. There is little doubt that the children of Israel are God's chosen people to take the gospel around the world but where are those people today. The promise-“I will multiply you like the sands of the seashore”. The Arab descendants of Abraham's illegitimate son Ishmael have multiplied in such numbers but the Hebrew people only claim to be 18 million in the world today with 6 million in New York City, 3.5 million in the modern State of Israel. The Church doctrine recognizes 10 lost tribes but still do not know where they are. They are not lost and they will be found. A theory is that 2 tribes returned to Palestine, Judah and one other. The modern J-e-ws all claim to be descended from Judah which is not the case. Maybe for some but they have jettisoned the other 11 tribes which is not right or fair. The Apostle James writes to the 12 tribes ‘scattered abroad’. The names of the 12 tribes will be on the New Jerusalem when it comes down from God out of Heaven. An official report stated that Modern Israel is occupied by 85% Edomites from the House of Esau that converted in history to Judaism. More of these people live in the United States than Israel by far. ct
