November 6, 2009 journal, an army major shot and killed 12 people at Fort Hood Texas. Yesterday a normal looking soldier who was a psychiatrist MD shot and killed 11 soldiers and one civilian police officer before being shot and killed by military police. 31 more are wounded. Fort Hood is said to be the largest military base in the world at Killeen Texas. It lies 60 miles north of Austin Texas on I 35 and about a hundred miles south of Dallas. This soldier had a Jordanian sounding name and is reported to have been 39 years old. Shooting and killing people is what the United States government trains soldiers to do. This one was about to be deployed to Iraq for which he had been vocally opposed to. The shooter reportedly graduated from Virginia Tech and went on to ROTC training for officers. This seems to be a copycat killing from the Virginia Technical killing recently. One might expect such conduct from some soldier returning from the battle but not from someone who has not been in battle although he had counseled soldiers returning from the wars where there is reported to be a very high percentage of mentally disturbed GI's. If the military cannot control its people how can they expect to control the entire world? The picture of the shooter appears to be an all American as a bright and jubilant person. I guess this is one thing the flu shot will not cure and may get worse before it gets better. Volumes of blood continues to flow from the Cheney Bush war crimes manifesto to kill. Major Hasan is now reported to have survived his killing yet unconscious, he was born in America and was resident for years at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington where he interviewed maybe thousands of returning war torn veterans feeling their pain perhaps. According to reports his website expressed his views as some sort of a suicide bomber. He was expelled from Walter Reed Army Hospital for political views against the wars yet he was promoted & scheduled for deployment to Iraq where he seemed to fear encounter with his native Arab people which is understandable. What he did in a sense resembles what America is doing to his native people everyday in Iraq & Afghanistan is to ambush and kill innocent people. The Majors rampage is bound to devastate the morale of the American soldiers from being deployed before and on the battlefront wondering why they are there and why they are killing people which will haunt them so long as they live I am sure in my opinion from what I have seen. Hasan was single without any children and shouted out "Allah is god" before he began firing 2 handguns into the crowd. A female security officer shot him 4 times and was wounded herself. They say some of those 31 wounded may have been hit by US friendly fire and that is not uncommon for the army. Some report that they thought this was part of the training exercise and they ignored it at first. The army is in disarray obviously & the wars in the Middle East are all in vain I say. Our vengeance from the insider attack on America killing 3000 and contaminating many more has resulted now in 43,000 military personnel dead or wounded and bankruptcy of this country coming full blown which I believe are the judgments of God Almighty on us. 48 states now have a budget deficit means they are physically financially broke and New York wants to tax soda pops. The one thing they have not already taxed to death I say. America is dying daily by attacking itself from Washington to Wall Street for dollars. Congress woman Michele Bachman rallied a protest of the health care bill on the Capitol steps calling for a revolution. The Republican rank and file stood behind her obviously in support of the capitalist corporatist insurance lobby as determined to keep the donations coming their way regardless of what happens to those dead peasants in the gentile world. Free clinics for everybody is the only answer in these days of such economic desperation.
